Community Breathwork FAQ
What is this breathwork thing?
I am a certified Level 2 Facilitator through Revelation Breathwork. They teach a two-step inhale breathing technique that allows the breather to access deeper levels of their consciousness. I will guide you on how to properly do the active breathing on Sunday. The breath does the work. But you are in control. Because no one is doing anything TO you, you are able to empower your own healing by controlling the depth and intensity of your breath. Remember: harder and faster is not always better. Especially if this is your first time! Eaassee into it.
How does breathwork help you to manifest with grace and ease?
This style of breathwork helps you to release the shadows holding you back from standing in your truth (limiting beliefs, doubt, fear, procrastination, impostor syndrome, perfectionism, etc.). When you release shadows you're able to step into the light and live as loving awareness. THAT is when manifestations come with grace and ease. When you're a vibrational match to freedom, love, joy, and abundance. Breathwork can help get you there.
Breathwork can help those who want to:
heal trauma
tap into more creativity
access healing and insight
expand their consciousness
release limiting beliefs and negative self-talk
know themselves more deeply
move on from depression
+ so much more!
Who should not do breathwork?
"Breathwork can lead to an emotional and physical release for the breather. It's not advised for those with a history of cardiovascular disease, including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, significant recent physical injuries, or surgery.
Revelation Breathwork (the company who trained me in their particular style) is not advised for persons with severe mental illness or seizure disorders or for persons using major medications. It is also unsuitable for anyone with a personal or family history of aneurysms.
Pregnant women are advised against practicing Revelation Breathwork without first consulting and getting approval from their primary care physician. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician and the Revelation Breathwork class facilitator.
This work is deeply experiential. It may involve intense and energetic emotional release. Revelation Breathwork work does not substitute for psychotherapy, but it can significantly deepen and enhance psychotherapy and other healing and personal growth efforts."

What to expect during a Community Breathwork Session?
I will start out by teaching everyone the 2-step breath. Each participant will then share their intention for our time together. Then I'll guide you in a grounding mediation and we will begin the active breathing to a special playlist I prepared ahead of time. The music will reach a climax where I will invite you to let out a primal sound (scream, roar, groan, yell). The breathing portion ends with slower songs and a meditation followed by a period of rest. We will reconvene to discuss and share experiences.
How to prepare + be comfortable?
You'll want to lay on a yoga mat or bed. A pillow or bolster under the knees can help with comfort. An eye pillow or covering is nice as well. Ideally, you'll keep your camera on for the session but you're welcome to turn it off if you'd like privacy. Everyone except me will be muted. You want the music to be loud enough so that it's impactful. Empty your bladder before hopping on the call. I tend to get cold during breathwork so I suggest having a blanket on or near you. Finally, I recommend you have a pillow nearby so you can scream into it during the peak of the session.
Is this free?
This is a donation-based offering. Give what you can! If you're living in abundance suggested donation is $22. If you're worried about finances, $12 is great! If you're struggling to get by $0-$2 works just fine! I'm happy to serve my community, whether or not you can contribute financially.
If you enjoy your experience, I'd love it if you shared it with your family and friends in person and on social media. Your word-of-mouth recommendation is worth more than gold to me :)
