#58 Q & A + 2021 Foreshadowing

Hello, hello and welcome back!

This is the final podcast episode of 2020. I am so excited to wrap this year up with intention.

I'm here on a solo retreat on some family property on Texas. I am just spending time to reflect on 2020. Looking at what worked, what didn't, and plan for 2021.

I'm feeling so charged and so pumped about what is coming out in 2021 - I think you guys are going to be very pleased with the things I have up my sleeve for you.

On this episode, I am answering some questions that I received via an Instagram story back in November.

The first question is: “How are you so awesome?”

I love this question because it really got me thinking. At first I was like, well, I just came out the womb awesome. But as I thought more about my answer, I was reminded that I did adopt a lot of limiting beliefs, unhelpful stories, fears, and doubts over the course of my life.

Over the course of the last five years, I've been actively releasing those things that don't serve me anymore. Or rather that don't serve the woman that I am stepping into.

So to answer the question directly, it's because I invest in myself. It's because I ask for help. I hire coaches, I get mentors, I enroll in courses, I actively teach myself how to become a better version of myself every single day.

That's how I'm so awesome.

Chelsea, thank you so much for asking this question.

The next question is: “If you could tell younger, doubtful you anything, what would it be?”

What I wrote down is actually something that somebody told me when I was younger. When I was very much doubting myself. Before I really had a business actually. I was thinking about a business and I was trying to desperately start one without any sort of direction.

I hadn't hired a coach. I just was kind of floundering.

A good friend, Megan Bowers, told me this while we were sitting in a coffee shop in Uvita, Costa Rica.

She said, “The world needs to hear what you have to say.”

I appreciated her saying that because it kind of lit a fire under my ass. I came to the realization that the world did need to hear my message.

Because what I have to say is going to empower so many people to release the bullshit that doesn't serve them. To help them step into their power, and to manifest with ease. If that does not make a better world, I don't know what does.

I would also tell her to not give up.

If you're feeling like oh, my business isn't working, or I tried this launch and it didn't work. Maybe nobody signed up for your program, or you are ready to quit your job. Know that if you don't give up, then you have no choice but to be successful.

You're going to fail, it's inevitable. You're gonna fall on your face a few times, and you're gonna mess up. But all of those things are just opportunities to learn and grow. If you see those failures like that embarrassing moment or the post where the text didn't align perfectly or the launch didn’t meet your goal. If you look at those situations as opportunities, then you will find the lesson within that.

You will continue to grow and evolve along your journey. You basically have no choice but to be successful at that point.

The next question is: “How to break limiting beliefs around money versus spirituality?”

The first thing that I would recommend to you is actually another podcast. One of my favorites is the the Manifestation Babe Podcast by Katherine Zenkina. She has a whole series from summer of 2020, on money. She busts a bunch of different money beliefs that people hold.

Perhaps she touches on one of the beliefs that is blocking you. When it comes to spirituality and money, a lot of people think it's not spiritual to have money.

The first step is really to do the shadow work around these beliefs. By shadow work, I mean look at these beliefs and asking where they come from? Who taught you this? Who taught you that you cannot be spiritual and have a bunch of money? Because I've seen that all over the internet. There are a bunch of spiritual entrepreneurs who are making good money and who are doing good things with their money.

If you don't have access to money, how are you going to help people? How are you going to help people if you are stressed out about money and not paying your bills or worried about the crack in your windshield?

That was a big revelation for me of realizing I do need money in order to help people. I need to feel supported in order to show up for my clients.

Step one is doing the shadow work around it.

Figure out how this belief served you in the past. How did it keep you safe in a certain community where not a lot of people had money.

Step two is to disprove them.

Like I said, there are plenty of people on the internet and not on the internet. My parents are a great example of spiritual folks who have good money. When you find proof of the opposite of your belief, it's way easier for your subconscious mind to stop holding on so tight to this belief that doesn't serve you.

Step three is to replace them.

Replace your old limiting beliefs around money and spirituality with new ones.

If the belief was, “I can't be spiritual and have a bunch of money,” or “In order to have a bunch of money, I need to be a greedy person nd that would make me not spiritual,” then replace it with something more empowering.

Something like, “The more money I have access to, the more I can donate to causes I care about. The more money I make, the more money I can donate. The more money I make, the more empowered I feel, and I can help more people. Having more money makes me more spiritual.”

Just continue to reinforce these new beliefs with these new affirmations.

Step four is to surround yourself with people who are both spiritual and have money.

Look around at your friend group and the people that you spend the most time with. You are the sum of the five people that you spend the most time with.

Are the people around you empowered to make to make money? How do they talk about money? Do they talk about it as a bad thing or a good thing? Are they spiritual and wealthy?

If not, then surround yourself with people who are both spiritual and wealthy. There's plenty of them hanging out on the internet. My favorites are:

Katherin Zenkina - @manifestationbabe

Amanda Francis - @xoamandafrances

Tori Washington - @iamtoriwashington

Decide who these people are and follow them. Read their content. Understand how they view the world and money. Enroll in their programs. Get as close to these people as you can, so that you can start to normalize money and spirituality being in a mutually beneficial relationship.

Because if you're surrounding yourself with people who are not a representation of where you want to go in your life, then you will continue to manifest in that vibration. You will continue to manifest in their vibration rather than the one that you are intentionally calling in.

The next question is: “Does intense anger and resent resentment towards loved ones affect your manifestations?”

Short answer is, yes it does. I used to hold intense resentment and anger toward a loved one. I had to do some really intense forgiveness work around that.

As I learned more and understood manifestation I discovered that it's all energy. Manifestation is all energy, vibration, and frequency. So if you are holding the frequency of anger, frustration, resentment, fear, doubt, shame or guilt, you are bringing your overall vibration down. All of those vibrations are going to be much lower than the vibration of love, joy, abundance and freedom.

I imagine that what it is you are hoping to manifest in your life. Being more aligned with love, joy, abundance, and freedom. The more anger and resentment that you're feeling, the more you need to work towards forgiveness.

Forgiveness does not mean that what they did was right. Forgiveness is not about them at all. It's not even about justifying what they did. It's about you.

It's about realizing as long as, I am holding on to this resentment and anger towards this person, I am a vibrational match for more anger and resentment. And I'm going to continue to attract more of those things, more reasons to feel that way into my life.

Holding onto resentment and anger towards anybody will affect your manifestations.

Your job here is to do the forgiveness work to release that person for what they did. So that you can have a better life and attract what it is that you actually want. Because it's not worth holding on to that anger and resentment. It is only affecting your manifestations. It's not affecting them or their manifestations.

It's time to let go. It's time to release, it's time to forgive and move on.

As Katherin Zenkina says: “Flush that shit and get on with your day.”
