Why You Are Not Manifesting Your Desires
Hello, Beautiful Soul.
On this rendition of the Monday Messages, we are going to be talking about the gap.
I got a question from a woman in my IG community asking about staying positive during the gaps in your manifesting.
“How do I stay positive during the gap?”
The gap is the time between you asking for what you want from the universe and the time when you actually receive it in the form of a manifestation into your reality.
Now that you know what the gap is, I'm going to answer a few questions about it.

3. How to close the gap faster?
I'm here to answer your questions and share the answers with the world.
1. What is creating/perpetuating the gap?
So the universe is basically rearranging itself to give you what you want.
A few months ago, I created a Monday Messages episode about how you can't keep changing your mind.
You can continue changing your mind, but every time you do that, the universe will stop what it's doing, and begin to rearrange itself to give you what you're asking.
So if you think, “I want this, I really want this, but I don't think I deserve it -I'm worthy of it.” Or “This will never happen for me.”
The universe hears you and starts to rearrange itself to give you what you say you don't want or what you say you don't deserve.
The universe cannot give you something that you do not believe you can have.
If you don't believe you can have it, that will create or perpetuate the gap.
A lot of people want something - a new home, a different job, a more romantic relationship, etc.
But a lot of those same people are holding on to these beliefs, that they're not worthy of it.
They may not believe they’re worthy of having that home in the mountains or that farm that they want to raise their children on and grow all sorts of vegetables and herbs.
They may want it really badly, but they also believe that they could never afford to build or sustain it.
So they end up literally creating the gap with their own belief system.
These limiting beliefs create the gap!
Something else that is perpetuating the gap is changing your mind because it hits the universal reset button.
Before all of this actually clicked with me and I implemented it into my practice, I was extremely guilty of this.
I would say things like:
“I want $100,000 a year. But, actually no, I don't think I'm worthy of that. My audience isn’t even big enough for that. I'll take $50,000 a year. Oh you know, I don't know if I can truly live my life the way I want to with just $50,000 a year. Okay I want to manifest $75,000 a year.”
This may all change of the course of a week but the Universe continues to rearrange itself in favor of what I say I want.
But every time we change our mind and the universe rearranges itself yet again, we are slowing down the manifestation of what it is that we really do want.
2. How do you stay positive during the gap?
A lot of times people will ask for something they desire - thinking “Great, it's coming, it's on the way.”
Then a few days pass, or weeks pass, or months pass and still not there.
That's when they start to lose faith.
“Where is it? Why hasn’t it happened yet?”
They start to doubt their wishes. Doubt their worthiness and their ability to actually have it.
By focusing on not having the “thing”, you are attracting more energy that leads to not having the “thing” even longer.
It's a message that you are sending out through your energy field saying, “It's not here, meaning it's not coming.”
When you're in the energy of it's not here, you repel your desires and further the gap.
So you have to stay in the energy of “It's mine. It's here, I already have it.”
I create alarms on my phone to go off throughout the day, that remind me of what it is that I'm manifesting.
When those alarms go off, I stop what I'm doing and I get into the energy of: “It's already mine”.
Maybe throughout the day, my energy will slump a little bit.
I may have a little bit of self doubt.
So how to stay positive during the gap and those time of self doubt?
I'll tell you what I do, then I'll give you some ideas of what you can do as well.
So I use a combination of affirmations, song, and dance together to shift me energy.
Because for me, the combination of those three is the fastest way to get into the vibration of that “thing”. I'll take affirmations and I'll make raps out of them and dance around the room while I rehearse them.
What I would recommend to you on how to stay positive during the gap is do whatever brings you joy, peace and purpose.
Do whatever brings love, happiness, and abundance if that's what you're manifesting.
If you're hoping to manifest an ideal loving relationship, then do things that make you feel love in your heart. Do things that make you love and care for yourself.
If you are manifesting a new home or a new living situation, really channel the feeling out what it will be like to have that new space.
Do you want to feel safe and secure? Do more of what makes you feel secure, supported, and safe! Even if that's just a meditation or just yelling out affirmations of “I am safe, I am supported. I have everything I need.”
Find those practices to help you shift into the energy of it's already here and then you'll become magnet to your desires.
